Built in the 1700s Shiloh Farm is a stone built historic farm house, near Delph, Saddleworth surrounded by acres of farmland and moorland. With two country pubs within walking distance and all the attractions of Saddleworth no more than 3 miles away you'll have plenty to see and do during your stay. Situated at the end of a no through road, Shiloh farm is the perfect location to get away from the hustle of the city whilst being only a 30 minute drive from the center of Manchester.
Modernised last year Shiloh farm has all the amenities you could need in a home away from home. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen heated by underfloor heating, with seating for 6 around a central island. Up a couple of steps the property boasts a huge 40m2 lounge with large comfortable sofa and seating for 8 around the TV and wood-burning stove (some fuel provided). Furthermore a dining area that seats 8 makes this room perfect for a group celebration. In addition to this there is a ground floor w/c with shower and a utility room with washing machine/dryer which guests are free to use.
On the first floor there are 4 large bedrooms all with stunning countryside views! 1 king bed and 4 doubles. There is also a large family bathroom with walk in shower and a whirlpool bath.
Guests have access to the whole property. Up to 4 parking spaces directly outside and a garden with patio area.
During your stay you will have the whole house, car parking for up to 4 cars and a garden surrounded by farmland to yourselves to enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Situated a 30 minute walk, the village center offers a selection of pubs and restaurants, with cuisine available from traditional English fish and chips, to Tapas. There is a pub, The Roebuck, 10 minutes walk away offering good home cooked food and stunning views of Oldham and Manchester on a clear day. In addition to this Uppermill is a 10 minute drive, with a great cafes, bars and restaurants on offer there is something for everyone.
To enjoy the area you will need a car. The nearest public transport is over a mile away. There’s many public footpaths and the lanes in the area have very little traffic, so walking and cycling are great ways to explore.

The Barn originally part of Shiloh Farm dates back to the 17th century and has been recently converted from stables keeping the old charm and character of the building. As well as one large bedroom with a fitted bath, an open plan kitchen diner, there is a comfortable lounge with a large sofa. Currently there is a small terrace outside the barn which is the perfect place to have a drink in the evening sun. Later in the year a large enclosed garden with hot-tub is planned.
Situated amongst the Saddleworth Hills, people staying at this property will have the ability to enjoy the large areas of open countryside with many local footpaths to explore, with stunning views across Saddleworth to the right and views over Manchester to the left. Parking available next to the property.
The property Is self checkin/checkout for guests convenience. However if help is required I live on the farm and am available to assist guests.
